The world lost its mind during the Covid pandemic. Officialdom looked especially bad, but in truth nobody came off looking good. The artist Christian Worthington made some drawings to capture the feel of that time, as it was happening. A few months ago, he and I collaborated to hold an event with invited friends at the Peacock Room to unveil the drawings. We also made a short film (about 14 minutes long). The teaser is above. The full version will be in a second, paid post because we’d like to recoup some of the production costs.
This is the first in a series of short films we have planned, in collaboration with others in our orbit. Fellow parishioners at St. Margaret’s Anglican Church, we find that we have lots to joke about, kvetch about and drink about, and some of these topics lend themselves to a visual treatment. So this is going to be fun! I hope you can join us.
